How SoundBlanket turns sound into full-body sensation
18 haptic transducers transform sound into full-body sensation. Hear your audio. Feel it through the blanket.
Simple by design
Three steps. Nothing to configure, nothing to download.
Micro haptic engine
Each transducer converts the audio signal into vibration you can feel through contact with the blanket.
Eighteen transducers are arranged through the blanket in a 6×3 grid. The vibration changes with your audio and amplifier level.
You don't
just hear it.
You feel it.
Audio signal is converted into physical vibration in real time — distributed across 18 transducers in direct contact with your body.
Nothing hidden
See exactly what's engineered into every SoundBlanket. 18 transducers, precision-placed for full-body coverage.
Every inch of the blanket is an instrument.
Not concentrated in one spot. Not a vibrating pad strapped to fabric. Distributed, deliberate, full-body.
Grounding on Pro only
SoundBlanket Pro has silver integrated directly into the fabric to provide continuity to ground through its included grounding connection.
How the Pro grounding path works
Pro provides a conductive path to ground through its silver-integrated fabric when connected through the included grounding cable. Standard does not include grounding.
Pro grounding connection
Connect the Pro using its included IEC grounding cable according to the supplied setup instructions.
Silver integrated into the fabric
Conductive silver is integrated directly into the Pro fabric to provide a conductive path to ground.
Contact with the Pro fabric
Grounding continuity depends on the Pro grounding connection and contact with the conductive fabric. It is not an automatic feature of every SoundBlanket.
Grounding research context
These study summaries concern grounding generally. They do not establish product-specific benefits for either SoundBlanket model.
